Following on from our annual conference;

Let’s take a look at childhood, love and parenting through the paradigm of the Prophets of Islam (AS)

Let’s take a deeper look at how the Prophets (AS) nurtured the emotional, spiritual, psychological blocks of young boys and girls they raised to then become great men and women.

Let’s look at our children in their abilities, ways of being and qualities and see how we can utilise this seminar in bringing the best out of every unique, special, individual child.

Dr Uthman Lateef, Afshan Khan, Aseya Malik, Dr Nadia Rahman and Umm Talha look forward to taking you on the journey to exploring Prophetic Parenting.

We hope to see you soon.

Annual Conference 2019

Motherhood is a status that is one of the most confusing and least acknowledged positions of the woman in the world today, even though the mother bears such high esteem in Islam this is sometimes hard to reconcile and poorly translated given the lack of respect and honour our societies place upon the mother, leaving us somewhat doubtful and feeling worthless about embarking upon the journey or enjoying motherhood.

Marital Arts would like to begin a conversation about the mother, and invites you to their Annual Conference to explore the concept of the mother; to discuss the perils and joys of parenting, explore the growth of a unique bond between mother and child, finally to empower the Muslim mother once again.

It is our honour to invite every woman who has dreamed or embarked upon this journey of parenthood to our conference, we look forward to seeing you soon.

Art of Marriage workshop welcomes all women who would like to learn and understand the ways and means of building a strong and healthy marriage.
Umm Talha the teacher and founder of Marital Arts will take you through an interactive session looking at the status of women in marriage, roles and the importance of active listening and good communication skills. Also looking at the synergy of team work.

This marriage workshop will be facilitated in a venue near you InshaaAllah so book now!

Remember this ?

They say youth is wasted on the young; and in many ways we understand it to be an age of not seeing our worth, realising our potential and the sheer abundance of what we have around us.

As the rites of passage go while being young may sometimes mean we feel dissatisfied and hence we look at the lives of others and wish we were that someone or somewhere else, not seeing or appreciating what we already have in front of us.

When adulthood looms with all life’s roles and responsibilities, we look back with hindsight and realise we now don’t have the time or luxury to pay attention to ourselves.

We at Marital Arts would like to ask the question: if you could go back and talk to your younger self what would you say?
The answer given by most women in fact, usually comes in the guise of I wish I had looked after my needs and taken better care of myself.

We say it’s never too late to start a new leaf and learn just how to love and take care of  ourselves.

That’s why we have organised a series of talks delivered by leading women in their fields to discuss the important issues surrounding a woman’s psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual well being.

We believe loving and being kind to yourself in all it’s forms is one of the most important components contributing towards your happiness in this life and the Hereafter, InshaaAllah.

That is why we have dedicated a whole annual Conference to talking, loving and celebrating you!
