Remember this ?
They say youth is wasted on the young; and in many ways we understand it to be an age of not seeing our worth, realising our potential and the sheer abundance of what we have around us.
As the rites of passage go while being young may sometimes mean we feel dissatisfied and hence we look at the lives of others and wish we were that someone or somewhere else, not seeing or appreciating what we already have in front of us.
When adulthood looms with all life’s roles and responsibilities, we look back with hindsight and realise we now don’t have the time or luxury to pay attention to ourselves.
We at Marital Arts would like to ask the question: if you could go back and talk to your younger self what would you say?
The answer given by most women in fact, usually comes in the guise of I wish I had looked after my needs and taken better care of myself.
We say it’s never too late to start a new leaf and learn just how to love and take care of ourselves.
That’s why we have organised a series of talks delivered by leading women in their fields to discuss the important issues surrounding a woman’s psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual well being.
We believe loving and being kind to yourself in all it’s forms is one of the most important components contributing towards your happiness in this life and the Hereafter, InshaaAllah.
That is why we have dedicated a whole annual Conference to talking, loving and celebrating you!
